The National Trust owns the harbour car park and slipway, which are leased and managed by the Abercastle Boat Owners CIC.
This partnership enables the CIC to maintain these important facilities for the benefit of harbour users while ensuring they continue to support the wider community and visitors to Abercastle.

The seabed and mooring areas within the harbour are owned by The Crown Estate.
Through an agreement with Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, the Abercastle Boat Owners CIC manages the harbour moorings on behalf of The Crown Estate, helping to provide a fair, safe and well-organised mooring system for members and harbour users.

Pembrokeshire County Council provides valuable support for public facilities serving the harbour and surrounding community.
Working together, we seek opportunities to improve facilities, ensuring they remain clean, accessible and fit for purpose for both residents and visitors.

Mathry Community Council has been a valued supporter of a number of community initiatives and improvement projects around the harbour.
Its continued encouragement and financial support help deliver projects that benefit both harbour users and the wider local community.
