Abercastle's sheltered natural inlet has been an important part of coastal life for centuries. Today it remains a busy working and recreational harbour, home to fishing boats, leisure craft, kayaks and paddle-boards, while also providing access to the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline.

The Abercastle Boat Owners CIC plays an active role in supporting the day-to-day operation and long-term future of the harbour. Working in partnership with a number of organisations, we help manage facilities, maintain infrastructure and encourage the safe, sustainable enjoyment of this unique coastal environment.

We lease and manage the harbour car park and slipway on behalf of the National Trust, administer the harbour moorings under agreement with the Crown Estate through Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, and work closely with Pembrokeshire County Council, Mathry Community Council and other local partners to help improve and maintain facilities for everyone who enjoys Abercastle.

The harbour is much more than a place to launch a boat. It is a place where friendships are made, traditions are maintained and generations of families continue to enjoy life on and around the water.
